Our institution aspires to cultivate a profound understanding and love for the Prophet’s life and teachings, fostering a community rooted in the principles of compassion, justice, and moral excellence. Through rigorous scholarship, innovative research, and community engagement, we aim to inspire individuals to embody the exemplary character of the Prophet (ﷺ) in their daily lives, contributing to the betterment of society and the Muslim Ummah.

Director

Shaykh Hammad Raḥman is an American-born scholar of the Islamic sciences. He holds a B.A. in psychology from Georgia Gwinnett College and is a graduate of Madrasah ʿArabiyyah Islāmiyyah (South Africa), where he completed a traditional curriculum and was granted ijāzāt in al-ʿAsharah al-Qirāʾāt and the major works of Ḥadīth. His authorizations include Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan Ibn Mājah, Sunan al-Nasāʾī, al-Muwaṭṭaʾ of Imām Mālik, al-Muwaṭṭaʾ of Imām Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Shaybānī, and the works of Imām al-Ṭaḥāwī.

He has instructed at multiple Islamic seminaries and educational institutions, including the Georgia Islamic Institute and Madinah Institute, and currently serves as the Co-Founder and Director of Masjid Omar Seminary in Lilburn, Georgia. Shaykh Ḥammād is also the Imām of Masjid Fatimah in Stone Mountain, Georgia, where he continues to teach, mentor, and inspire students in their spiritual, intellectual, and communal development.
